EVENTS & FUNDRAISERS

Sept. 19 - 23
Little Black Dress Initiative (#LBDI) is a week-long awareness and fundraising campaign that harnesses the power of social media to educate Angelina County citizens about poverty in the community. LBDI participants wear the same black dress (or outfit) for five consecutive days to illustrate the restrictions poverty places on family’s choices, opportunities, and access to resources for their well-being.
How can I participate?
During LBDI week, we ask that you:
-
Wear one black dress or outfit for five (5) consecutive days
-
Follow our League on social media and like, comment, and share our posts with your friends and family
-
Follow our members on social media and like, comment and share their posts
-
Donate by clicking the button below to support this important work

Raffle with a Mission tickets are sold from mid-February until mid-April, and can be purchased through any active or provisional JLL member.
Tickets will be sold for $1 each. The drawing is held onsite at our presenting sponsor, JM Chevrolet, at the conclusion of ticket sales. You do not have to be present to win.
All sales directly fund the projects of the Junior League of Lufkin, including Back to School Bonanza and Community Disbursements.

The Helping Hands annual fund offers a direct opportunity for businesses, sustainers, individuals and members to support the mission of the Junior League of Lufkin.
Without our Helping Hands supporters, many League projects would not be possible.
We offer several levels of sponsorship for three types of partnerships: Corporate, In-Kind Media and Sustainers.
