SERVING OUR COMMUNITY SINCE 1953
WHO WE ARE
The Junior League of Lufkin is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
September 19-23, 2022
Little Black Dress Initiative (#LBDI) is a week-long awareness and fundraising campaign that harnesses the power of social media to educate Angelina County citizens about poverty in the community. LBDI participants wear the same black dress (or outfit) for five consecutive days to illustrate the restrictions poverty places on family’s choices, opportunities, and access to resources for their well-being.
We want to give you the opportunity to partner with us in 2022 through our annual campaign, Helping Hands: Helping Today, Strengthening Tomorrow.
Your $20.22 in 2022 will allow us to continue to improve the lives of families and children one backpack, one scholarship, and one school uniform at a time. On behalf of the Junior League of Lufkin, thank you for your consideration, and we hope to count on you as a valuable partner for the 2022 campaign year.
